This is the second time Starla's barn is shown after Truckball Team-Up
This is the only episode to date where Crusher and Pickle's subplot show up as four scenes instead of three, and the only episode where it happens before the travel song.
This is the first time that Crusher's subplot intersects with the main story. In this case, the giant crack on the rock caused by him accidentally failing to use the lasso ends up becoming part of Blaze and Starla's adventure.
This is also the second (and final) Season 1 episode with subplots.
This is the final episode where Blaze says "Say it with me!" or variations thereof following the "Let's Blaze!" prompt; for the rest of the series he no longer says that.
Running Gags[]

Goofs[]
Despite the appearance of rain for the first time in the series, Blaze does not have a roof, therefore the rain would've caused a short circuit to his interior. The umbrella did not help as it is not covering him.
When Blaze and Starla use their lassos to save the cows, the raft somehow fixes itself when both pieces stick together. The other half would've floated away if they did this without fastening it first.
Starla says you have to say "yee-haw" when about to lasso. But there are times in the episode where she and Blaze don't say "yee-haw" before lassoing, such as when they rescue the cows on the runaway half of the raft and when Blaze saves the little cow from the earthquake.
Cows cannot fit on rafts in real-life, as it would not hold up their weight. Although they may only do in the series.
At the beginning, Blaze claims he never lassoed before, but he was seen lassoing in Truckball Team-Up. Although it suggests that this might've taken place before that.
When Blaze says “After you,” Starla is much smaller than normal.
