Gabby, Stripes, Starla and Darington don't appear in this episode.
Fluffy, the T-Rex that Pickle befriended in Dino Dash, reappears in this episode as one of the participants in the parade.

This is the second time Zeg’s wipers were shown visible since Tool Duel.
This is the first time Blaze shares Blazing Speed with Zeg alone, making Zeg the first Monster Machine to use Blazing Speed alone with Blaze. In previous episodes where Zeg travels with him, he did not share Blazing Speed.
At the end of the travel song, the scene where Blaze and Zeg jump and bash through a pile of boxes mimics the same exact scene in the theme song.
Crusher’s costume slipping over his eyes causing him to lose control is similar to Knight Riders when his helmet visor slips over his eyes and did the same thing.
This is the first time Blaze and AJ are the announcers of an event.
This is the only episode to show dinosaurs outside of Dinosaur Valley, and also the only episode to show them without that said location.

Goofs[]
In wide shots of the parade route, Blaze and AJ's podium is not seen.
The water wouldn’t activate the crane’s lever; it would spray directly into it and short it out.
It is impossible for an elevator button to be on the ceiling of a room outside of it. It would have to be right next to or inside the elevator just near the doors.
Blaze, AJ and Zeg are shown to know Fluffy despite not seeing him in Dino Dash, as Crusher and Pickle were the only ones who interacted with him.
It is possible that they met Fluffy before the episode was released.
