Fired Up! Transcript Transcript At the Axle City Garage, Blaze, Stripes and Gabby get ready to slide down the slide. Blaze Here I GO! (slides) Whooooo-hoo! AJ Yeah! Blaze and AJ (laugh) They jump off the bottom of the slide and do a perfect landing in time to face the viewers. Blaze (to the viewer:) Hey, check it out! AJ and I are doing tricks with our friends in the Axle City Garage! Gabby slides down next on her ATV. Gabby Yeah! Yahoo! Stripes slides next. Stripes Rawwr! Whoo-hoo-hoo! Yeah! (He jumps off the pulley systems.) Rawwr! Heeheeheeheehee! Blaze, AJ and Gabby (laugh) Pickle (drives to the top) Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh! It's my turn! (slides) WHEEEEEEEEE! Hahahahahaha! Blaze, AJ, Gabby and Stripes (laugh)  Pickle That was incredible! (sees Crusher in the kitchen) Crusher! Hey, Crusher! You gotta come try the slide, it's so much fun! Crusher Be there in a second, Pickle! Ooh, I'm makin' a pizza! Just gotta put it in the oven to co-oo-oo-ook! In you go, pizza! He puts the pepperoni pizza he made in the oven and turns the heat up. Crusher All righty, time to slide! He arrives at the top of the slide. Blaze Okay, Crusher! Your turn! Crusher Everyone, stand aside! This is gonna be the best slide you've ever — (slips) SEEEEEEEN! He falls down the slide on his back. Crusher (screams, runs into some tires) Ugh... (one hits his head) Oof. Smoke starts wafting through the garage. Stripes (sniffs) Hang on, guys. I smell something. (sniffs again) It smells like...smoke!! The smoke alarm begins to go off. Pickle Oh boy, what's that sound? Gabby That's the smoke alarm. The alarm sounds to let us know there could be a fire. Crusher (panicking) A FIRE?! Oh, no! What do we do, WHAT DO WE DO?!?! Blaze First, we all need to stay calm. Everybody line up and follow me. He leads them out and exits the garage safely. Blaze (to the viewer:) Let's make sure all four of our friends make it outside safely. Count them with me. One by one the others come out; first up, Gabby. Blaze One... Then comes Stripes... Blaze Two... Then Pickle... Blaze Three... And last is Crusher. Blaze Four! Great! That means everybody's here! Pickle Hooray!! Blaze led everyone outside safe and sound! Stripes Way to go, Blaze! A siren is heard in the distance. Gabby Listen. That sounds like...firefighters! Four fire trucks are coming up the street; they stop outside the garage. Fire Chief This looks like an emergency! Firefighters, get your hoses ready! They get out their hoses. Fire Chief Now follow me! Firefighter 2 You got it, Chief! Firefighter 1 Yes sir! Firefighter 3 Right behind you, Chief! They enter. Stripes Whoa! Gabby Cool! Pickle Wow, those firefighters are so brave! Blaze I wish I could be a firefighter someday. AJ You'd make an awesome firefighter, Blaze. You're the bravest Monster Machine I know. Gabby Look, the firefighters are coming back out! The firefighters come out of the garage. Fire Chief Well, folks, we found what was making all that smoke. Crusher (gasps) Was it a fire? A huge fire, with big, super hot flames?!! Fire Chief Nope, no fire. Just this. He shows the pizza Crusher made, burnt to a crisp. Fire Chief Looks like someone left their pizza in the oven too long. Stripes and Gabby Eww!/Bleech! Pickle Hey, Crusher, isn't that the pizza you were making? Crusher MY PIZZA! Oh, I can't eat it now! Nobody would eat this! Pickle (takes a bite) Mmm...hmmhmm...crunchy. Hmmhmm! Fire Chief (drives up to Blaze) You know, Blaze, I think you've got what it takes to be a firefighter yourself someday. Blaze Oh, wow! That would be amazing! But...what do I have to do to become a firefighter? Fire Chief Well, to start, you'll need one of these: a firefighter badge. He brings out a badge with four dim stars on it. Blaze Whoa! Fire Chief See those stars? Whenever you help out in an emergency, a star lights up. One of the stars lights up and glows to mark Blaze's first emergency. Blaze Wow! AJ Check it out, Blaze: you just got your first star! Fire Chief That's right. But to become a firefighter, you'll need to earn all four stars. Think you can do it? Blaze You bet I can, Chief! (to AJ) Come on, let's go for it! I wanna be a firefighter! AJ All right! (boards Blaze) Blaze AJ, gimmie some speed! (sets off) Stripes Good luck, Blaze! Gabby Go, Blaze! Firefighter 1 You can do it! Blaze hurries through town; travel song starts. Tommy Leonard Start it up Hit the gas It's time for us to roll Let's drive Super fast Ready, set, let's go! Come on! Come on! Rev it up and hit the road Blaze on! Blaze on! Faster, faster, here we go Ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh Blaze on, come on, blaze on (Hey, hey, hey!) Ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh Blaze on, come on, blaze on Blaze on! Song ends; something pink lands in the street, and Blaze slips in it. Blaze and AJ Whoaaaaaaaaaaa!!! AJ What is this stuff, Blaze? Blaze Hmm...(tastes it) It tastes like...strawberry yogurt. More of it splats aside him. AJ Look! Up ahead is the yogurt factory, spurting yogurt everywhere. AJ It's coming from that factory over there! Worker Truck 1 WHOA! Worker Truck 2 Somebody do something!! Worker Truck 3 Agh! Worker Truck 4 Hey, look out! Blaze This looks like an emergency. We'd better check it out! He enters to find the factory interior a big mess; some of the workers are stuck on gushing spouts of yogurt. AJ Oh, man! This place is a mess! Blaze The yogurt is supposed to flow through those pipes, but some of the pipes are broken, and they're shooting yogurt everywhere! (to the viewer:) Those workers need our help, come on! He drives past the yogurt and spots the first trapped worker. Trapped Worker 1 WHOAAAA, WHOAAAA! Blaze Don't worry! We'll get you down! AJ We've gotta find some way to stop the yogurt from coming out of that broken pipe! Blaze I see a way! We can use...a valve! He finds a valve attached to the pipe. Blaze A valve looks kind of like a door. When it's open, all the yogurt can flow through. But when I close it... (twists it shut) It stops the yogurt from flowing through the pipe! The yogurt stops flowing, letting the worker jump to safety, AJ You did it, Blaze! Trapped Worker 1 I'm saved! Blaze (to the viewer:) Come on! Let's hurry and help the other trucks! They drive and find another worker stuck. Trapped Worker 2 WHOAAAAAAAAA!!! AJ Check it out, Blaze. This pipe has two valves. Close-up; one valve is blue, the other is red which connects to the pipe leading to the trapped truck. Blaze (to the viewer:) Hmm...we've got to stop the yogurt coming out of this pipe. To stop the yogurt, should we close the blue valve or the red valve? Viewer responds "The red valve." Blaze The red valve, yeah! He closes it, stopping the yogurt. Trapped Worker 2 YAAAAAAH! WHOAAAAA! AGH! OOH! She jumps to safety. Trapped Worker 2 Whoo-hoo! Phew! Trapped Worker 3 HEEEEEEELP!!! AJ Come on, Blaze! This way! He finds the third worker also stuck; this time, the blue valve connects to the broken pipe. Trapped Worker 3 HEEEEEEEELP!!! Blaze Quick! We've gotta save him! To stop the yogurt from coming out of the pipe, should we close the blue valve or the red valve? Viewer responds "The blue valve." Blaze The blue valve, right! He closes it, freeing the truck. Trapped Worker 3 AH-HA-HA! Phew! Thank goodness! AJ Come on, there's still one more truck to rescue! They find the last truck; this time there are three valves, one red, one green and one blue; the green one connects to the broken pipe. Trapped Worker 4 AGH! WHOA...HEEEEEEELP!!!! Blaze Whoa, that guy really needs our help! To stop the yogurt, should we close the red valve, the green valve, or the blue valve? Viewer responds "The green valve." Blaze The green valve! He closes it, freeing him. Trapped Worker 4 Whoo! AJ All right! Trapped Worker 3 Yeah! Trapped Worker 2 Whoo-hoo! Trapped Worker 1 Yeah! Trapped Worker 4 You saved us! Blaze Aww, you're welcome. I'm just glad everyone's okay. AJ gets off and checks Blaze's badge; another star is lighting up. AJ Blaze, look! Your firefighter badge! Blaze (gasps) I got another star for helping in an emergency! How many stars do I have now? Viewer responds "Two." Blaze Two, right! Just two more to go, and then I'll be a firefighter! AJ reboards. Trapped Worker 1 You can do it Blaze! Trapped Worker 2 Yeah! Trapped Worker 3 Whoo-hoo! Trapped Worker 4 Thanks, everyone! Stay safe! He leaves the factory and continues on; STEM song starts. Blaze and AJ Open, shut! Time to crank it up! AJ Valves always gettin' open Use valves to start it flowin' Blaze Open up, up, up (AJ: Make it go!) Close 'em down, down, down (AJ: Stop the flow!) (Oh!) AJ Valves control all that passes With liquids and with gasses Blaze Open up, up, up (AJ: Make it go!) Close 'em down, down, down Song ends. Blaze Yeah! WHOOOOOOOO-HOO-HOO! They pass Pickle in the park; he drives up to Crusher playing with a ball. Pickle Wow, look at Blaze go! He's definitely got what it takes to be a firefighter! Crusher Ohh...it's not fair, Pickle! I wanna be a firefighter, too! (whacks ball away with dismay) Pickle Aww. But you can be a firefighter, Crusher! You just need to help in an emergency. You know, like...rescue a cat that's stuck in a tree. Crusher Well, sure, but where am I gonna find a cat that's stuck in a tree? Pickle Ooh, ooh, ooh! I know! (holds up a cat ears headband and leaves) Crusher Pickle, what are you doing? Pickle is now standing on a tree branch dressed like a cat. Pickle (stilted) Meow! I am a little kitty cat! (whispering) It's just me, Crusher. I'm pretending. (normal volume) Meow! Won't somebody rescue me from this tree? Crusher Yeah. I mean...ahem...yes, kitty cat! I will rescue you! He gets a ladder and leans it up against the tree and climbs up. Crusher I just need to climb this wobbly old ladder... The ladder starts to shake. Pickle Meow, meow, Crusher! I don't think that ladder looks very safe! Crusher Stop worrying, kitty cat! Just a little higher...and then I'll be a hero-o-o-o-o!!! The ladder splits down the middle and he drops into the mud at the bottom. Crusher Ohhhh... Pickle Meow! Blaze drives through a forest. Blaze Whoo-hoo! He stops by a distant hole; baaing is heard. Blaze Huh? More baaing. AJ What keeps making that sound, Blaze? Nearby are three sheep. Blaze Look! Over there! It's those little sheep! And they look kinda worried. They are indeed; he drives up to them. Blaze Aww. What's wrong, little sheep? One of the sheep points down the hole; zoom down to reveal a quarry with a baby sheep stuck in the middle. Blaze Gaskets! A little baby sheep is stuck down in that quarry, and he doesn't know how to get back up! AJ Poor baby sheep. He looks scared. Blaze We've gotta rescue that baby sheep! This is an emergency! He finds some mine carts on a track nearby. Blaze Hop in, little sheep! He hooks up to the carts; the sheep hop in. Blaze Here we go!!! He rides into the cavern. AJ Whee! Blaze Yeah-heh! Hang on, AJ! Whoo-hoo! AJ Yeah! Suddenly... AJ Blaze! Look out!! Up ahead, the track is broken; Blaze stops in time. Blaze Hubcaps! The tracks are broken! We've got to find some way to fix them, so we can rescue the baby sheep! One of the sheep finds two pieces of track in the last cart. AJ Hey, look what the sheep found: old track pieces. Blaze One of them must be the piece we need to fix the track. AJ Switching to Visor View. He deploys his visor; a measuring line measures the gap. AJ The empty space is 7 meters long. That means we need a piece of track that's 7 meters to fix it. Blaze Come on, let's measure the pieces. The first piece is measured; it is 2 meters. Blaze (to the viewer:) When you measure, you start at 0. Then you look at the number where the piece stops. This piece stops here. What number is that? Viewer responds "2." Blaze 2, right! It's 2 meters long. AJ But that's too small. To fix the track, we need a piece that's 7 meters. Blaze Let's measure the other piece. The second piece is held up; it measures 5 meters. Blaze What number does this piece go up to? Viewer responds "5." Blaze 5, yeah! AJ Uh-oh, that's not long enough, either. Both pieces are too short. Blaze Wait! I have an idea! Let's try putting the 5 piece and the 2 piece together! The sheep stick both pieces together; they both measure 7 meters. Blaze Now does it measure 7? Viewer responds "Yes." Blaze Yeah! 2 and 5 make 7! He puts the track piece into place. AJ It fits! Blaze Yeah-heh! He takes the sheep across and honks; he arrives at the bottom where the baby sheep is. Blaze We're here, baby sheep! The baby sheep excitedly hops into one of the carts. AJ Aww, he sure is happy to be rescued. Blaze (chuckles) Come on, sheep. Let's get you outta here. They return to the top; AJ dismounts. AJ You did it, Blaze! You rescued the baby sheep! The baby sheep gives Blaze a hug. Blaze (giggles) You're welcome, baby sheep. A star on the badge lights up. AJ Blaze, look! Your firefighter badge! Another star is lighting up! Blaze Whoa! That's our third star! How many more stars do we need? Viewer responds "One." Blaze One, yeah! Just one more to go, and then I'll be a firefighter! AJ Come on, Blaze! Let's go earn your last star! (boards Blaze) Blaze See ya later, sheep! He leaves and the sheep wave goodbye; back at the park, Pickle is still in the tree. Pickle (stilted) Meow! I am just a little kitty cat, waiting for Crusher to come rescue me! Crusher (same manner) Don't worry, Pickle! I mean...ahem...little kitty cat! I got just the thing to get you down! He leaves and pushes a trampoline into view. Crusher A bouncy rescue net! Pickle Ooh! This is definitely gonna work! Crusher (giggles) Here I come! He starts bouncing on it. Pickle You've almost made it! You just need to bounce a little higher! Crusher Ugh... Pickle Little higher! Crusher Eee... Pickle Little higher! He bounces so hard he jumps right past Pickle high into the air. Crusher (screams) Pickle Okay, that's too high. Crusher Uh-oh! He falls and lands in the mud again. Pickle Me...OW! Blaze drives further into the forest. Blaze Whoo-hoo! AJ Yeah-heh-heh! A siren is heard. Blaze Listen. Those sound like sirens. AJ And look! Over the hill, he spots... AJ Smoke! Blaze (to the viewer:) Come on, we'd better check it out. He finds five big fires nearby. Blaze Lugnuts! It's a forest fire! The firefighters appear. AJ Good thing the firefighters are here to put it out. They line up before each fire. Fire Chief All right, firefighters! Open the valves on your hoses! They open their valves and start spraying the fires. Fire Chief Keep spraying! For an emergency this big, we need five fire engines working together! Firefighter 1 But Chief, there are only four of us! Firefighter 2 We need one more fire engine! AJ Blaze, we've gotta help 'em! Blaze And I know how! (to the viewer:) Let's turn me into a fire engine! Transformation interface appears. Blaze First, we'll need to make a hose that can shoot out water. To make a hose, say "Hose." Hose! Hose materializes. Blaze All right! Now we need a valve. When we open a valve, the water can go through the hose. To make a valve, say "Valve." Valve! Valve materializes. Blaze Great! Now we just need a telescoping ladder that can move the hose up and down. To make it, say "Telescoping ladder." Telescoping ladder! Telescoping ladder materializes. Blaze Yeah-heh! I'm a Fire Engine Mmmmmmonster Machine!! Blaze transforms; AJ climbs into the ladder bucket. AJ Awesome! Now let's go help those firefighters! He drives up to the Fire Chief. Blaze Fire Engine Blaze, reporting for duty, Chief. I'm ready to help put out that fire. Fire Chief Well, all right! Let's see what you've got! He drives up to the last unoccupied fire. AJ (to the viewer:) Quick! Help me open the valve so water can shoot out of the hose. Say "Open the valve!" Open the valve! He turns the valve which activates the hose, spraying the fire. Blaze It's working! We're putting out the fire! The fire is extinguished. Blaze All right! The other fires have been put out as well. Firefighters (cheering) They drive up to Blaze. Fire Chief Good work, everybody! Looks like we're all -- Firefighter 1 Oh, no! Chief, there's more fire down there! He spots more fire in the forest up ahead. Firefighter 2 And it's heading for those trees! Blaze Don't worry, Chief. I can stop the fire before it gets to those trees. I'll use Blazing Speed to get there super fast! Fire Chief Go for it, Blaze! Blaze turns and lets the Blazing Speed boosters pop out and ignite. Blaze (to the viewer:) To give me Blazing Speed, we need to say "Leeeeet's Blaze!" Say it with me. Blaze and AJ Leeeet's Blaaaaze!! He unleashes the speed. Firefighter 1 Go, Blaze! Firefighter 2 Gooooo, Blaze! Blaze Whooooo-hoo!!! AJ Yeah-heh! They enter the forest where the fire is spreading. AJ Get ready, Blaze! The fire's just up ahead! Blaze (to the viewer:) Help me blast the fire with water to put it out. Cut to just behind him. Blaze When you see fire, say "Fire." He drives for some time; the first fire comes into view, and the viewer responds. Blaze Fire! He sprays it until it's extinguished. AJ Nice shot! Blaze Now let's put out the rest of these fires. Behind shot. Blaze Whenever you see fire, say "Fire." Time passes; another fire appears, viewer responds. Blaze Fire! He sprays it and extinguishes it; time passes, the next fire appears, viewer responds. Blaze Fire! Spray, extinguish; the last big fire appears after some time, viewer responds. Blaze Fire! He sprays it from all sides until it's extinguished completely. Blaze Yeah-heh! AJ Wahoo! Yeah-heh! Blaze All right! We saved the trees and put out the forest fire! AJ (dismounts) Yay, Blaze! I knew you could do it! The firefighters arrive. Firefighter 2 Whoo-hoo! Firefighter 1 Yeah-heh! Firefighter 3 You're a hero! Firefighter 2 Aww, yeah! Firefighter 1 Way to go, Blaze! The last star lights up on Blaze's badge. AJ Hey! Blaze! Your firefighter badge! You're getting your last star! The badge glows radiantly. Blaze (gasps) Wow! I did it! Fire Chief Congratulations, Blaze! You've proven you can handle any emergency; you're now an official firefighter! He gets out a firefighter's helmet and AJ puts the badge on it; he tosses it onto Blaze's head. Blaze Whoa! My very own firefighter helmet! Thanks, Chief! Fire Chief Let's hear it for Blaze, Axle City's newest firefighter! The firefighters spray their hoses in celebration. Firefighters Whoo-hoo!/All right! Firefighter 3 Hooray for Blaze! Blaze and AJ (laugh) Back at the park; Pickle is still in the tree. Pickle Meoooooow!?! I'm still waiting to be rescuuuuuued!! Crusher Ugh, I give up, Pickle! I'm never gonna get you out of that tree! I've tried a ladder, I've tried a bouncy net, I've tried everything! Pickle Not everything! Crusher Well...what else is there? Pickle You still haven't tried...catching me! Crusher Catching you?!? Pickle (jumps off the tree branch) WHEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! Crusher Nonononono -- (Pickle lands on him; screams) He stops.
