Firefighters to the Rescue Transcript Transcript Blaze and AJ are driving through town. Blaze Whooooo-hoo-hoo! AJ Yeah-heh-heh-heh! He drives further to face the viewer. Blaze Hey, it's me, Blaze. AJ and I are out taking a drive, and -- An alarm goes off. Clive (offscreen) Oh, no! Oh, no! Oh, no! AJ Uh-oh, look! He gets off. AJ There's a fire at Clive's bakery! Indeed there is. Clive Somebody, please help! Save my bakery! Blaze Gaskets! We've gotta put out that fire, and fast! AJ To do it, we're gonna need a firefighting vehicle! Blaze Yeah! It's time to become a Monster Machine... Transformation interface appears. Blaze ...Fire truck! First, let's make the turntable ladder. It lets firefighters rescue people up high. To make the turntable ladder, say "Turntable ladder." Turntable ladder! Turntable ladder materializes. Blaze Now, let's add the hose so we can spray water on the fire. To make the fire hose, say "Fire hose." Fire hose! Fire hose materializes. Blaze Now for the most important part; the pump. It pushes water through the hose so we can blast it at the fire. To make the pump, say "Pump." Pump! Pump materializes. Blaze Oh-ho, yeah! I'm a Fire Truck Mmmmmmmmmmonster Machine!! Blaze transforms; AJ gets on. AJ Yeah-heh! (puts on fire helmet) Blaze Let's put out that fire! His siren blares as he approaches the bakery. Blaze Activating water pump! The water pump begins to spin and fill up with water, which seeps through the hose and squirts out at the fire, extinguishing it. Blaze Oh-ho, yeah! AJ You did it, Blaze! The fire's out! The trucks cheer. Clive Oh, thank you, Fire Truck Blaze! You and AJ saved my bakery! Blaze Aww, you're welcome, Clive. AJ Now you can get back to baking all those delicious treats! Clive Ha! That's true! (takes out mixing spoon) So long, fire fighters! A baker's gotta bake, bake, bake! (enters bakery) AJ Bye! Blaze See ya, Clive! An alarm goes off. Blaze Hey, listen. That sounds like our firefighter alarm. AJ Yeah! Check it out! On the panel, three symbols of fires are shown. AJ These pictures tell us how many fire emergencies there are. Blaze How many emergencies are there? Viewer responds "Three." Blaze Three, right! AJ Whoa... putting out three fires sounds like a big job! You think we can do it, Blaze? Blaze You bet we can! 'Cause we're firefighters, and firefighters are always there to help, no matter what! AJ Yeah-heh-heh! His siren blares. Blaze, AJ Firefighters to the rescue! He sets off as a song begins to play. Blaze We got the call, we gotta go No time to waste, so let's roll Blaze, AJ A hero's job is never done So day or night, this engine will run We're fired up, fired up AJ Help is on the way Blaze, AJ We're fired up, fired up AJ Here to save the day Blaze, AJ We'll race to the rescue as fast as we can There's a five alarm blaze, but we'll lend a hand We're fired up, fired up Yeah-ah-ah We're fired up, fired up Yeah-ah-ah We're fired up! Song ends. Elsewhere at the skate park, Pickle is playing firefighters with Crusher. Pickle (mimics a siren and laughs) Isn't this fun, Crusher? You and me, driving around, pretending to be firefighters? (mimics siren again) Crusher Ugh... I'm tired of just driving around. I wanna do something exciting! Pickle Exciting, huh? (gasps) Well, I've got just the thing! He zips off... Pickle Firefighter Crusher! ...and returns with a cardboard fire. Pickle Look! It's a pretend fire emergency! Crusher Hoo-hoo! Now that's what I'm talking about! Stand back, everyone! I'll take care of this fire! Pickle, bring me my hose! Pickle Yes sir, Firefighter Crusher sir! He zips off; after some struggling, he comes back with a hose. Pickle Here you go! Crusher (laughs) Give me that! (takes it) Now I just have to wait for the water to come out, and I'll be a hero! Pickle Water? (chuckles) Gee, Crusher, you never said you wanted a water hose. The hose starts up... Crusher But then what kind of hose is this? Pickle It's...a flip flop hose! Crusher A flip flop hose!?! The hose sprays out flip flops which pelt him in the face. Crusher (shocked sputtering; moans) In another area of the park, Blaze arrives. AJ (to the viewer:) Remember, our firefighter alarm says that there are three emergencies out there somewhere. Tweeting is heard; he stops. Blaze Gaskets! I see the first emergency! Look! Nearby is a tree with fire catching its branches. Blaze The branches of that tree are on fire! The three birds of the tree fly up to him in panic. Blaze Don't worry, little birds. Your firefighter friends are here to help! He goes up to the tree. Blaze (to the viewer:) We've gotta put out those flames, so we can save that birdhouse. AJ Whoa! Blaze, those branches are really high! How are we gonna spray water all the way up there? Blaze We can do it, AJ! 'Cause our fire truck has... a pump! AJ Yeah! A pump is a machine that moves things like air or water from one place to another. Zoom to the communicator. AJ In a fire truck, the pump takes water in and spins it aroun. Blaze Come on! Let's use our pump to blast water all the way to that branch up there! The lowest branch; AJ walks to the side and finds the pressure gauges. AJ To reach the branch, we need to pump out water with a force of 5. Numbers appear on the buttons above the gauges: 3 for the purple one, 2 for the yellow one, and 5 for the red one. AJ Which button has the number 5 on it? Viewer responds. AJ The red button, right! He pushes it; the pump starts up and sends water to the hose, causing it to spray and put the fire out. Blaze Whoooo-hoo! AJ You did it, Blaze! You put out the fire on that first branch! Blaze Now let's blast the water even farther, to that branch up there! The next fire is on a higher branch. AJ To hit the next branch with water, we need to increase our pump's force to 8! Numbers appear on the buttons: 6 for purple, 8 for yellow, 4 for red. AJ Which button has the number 8 on it? Viewer responds. AJ The yellow one, yeah! He pushes it; the pump starts, sending water to the hose, and it extinguishes the fire. Blaze Yeah-heh! The last fire is on the highest branch just near the birdhouse. AJ Now there's only one burning branch left! Blaze But it's up really high, so to put it out, we've gotta blast water with the most force yet! AJ Let's increase our pumping power to a force of 10! Numbers appear: 10 for purple, 7 for yellow, 9 for red. Which button has the number 10 on it? Viewer responds. AJ The purple one! Push; the pump starts. Blaze Fire truck power! The hose sprays; the final fire goes out. Blaze Oh-ho-ho-ho, yeah! The tree is safe. AJ All right! We put out the fire and saved the birdhouse! The birds fly over to thank them. Blaze Aww, you're welcome, little birdies. AJ Yeah, we're glad we could save your house. (high fives a bird) The birds go back to their house. Blaze Now come on, Firefighter AJ! Let's get movin'! AJ Yeah! There's still more emergencies out there somewhere! Siren on. Blaze, AJ Firefighters to the rescue! He leaves the park; STEM song starts. Blaze, AJ Pump it up! Pumps! Pumps, move liquid or air Pump it! (Pumps!) From one place to another Blaze A pump on a fire truck, moves water AJ That's a centrifugal pump, yeah! Blaze Blow up a tire with an air pump AJ Pump it, pump it up! Blaze, AJ Pumps! Pumps, move liquid or air Pump it! (Pumps!) From one place to another (Oh!) Pumps, move liquid or air Pump it! (Pumps!) Look around, they're everywhere Pump it, pump it, pump it, pump it Pumps! Song ends. Back at the skate park... Pickle (imitating siren; gasps, stagey) Oh, no! It's another pretend fire! It sure is; cue Crusher. Crusher A pretend fire? This sounds like a job for Axle City's greatest pretend firefighter — Me! Pickle Oh-ho, wow! What a hero! Crusher Hurry, Pickle! Bring me my fire hose! Pickle Yes sir, Firefighter Crusher! Crusher (sternly) And Pickle, not the same hose as last time? Pickle Of course, sir! I'll be sure not to make that mistake again! He goes off and brings another hose over; Crusher takes it. Crusher I'll take that! (giggles) The hose starts. Crusher And here comes the water! Pickle Huh, that's funny. I don't remember you saying you wanted a water hose. Crusher Wait, then what kind of hose is this? Pickle It's... a hamburger hose! Crusher A hamburger hose!?! He gets pelted with various hamburgers. Crusher (yelping loudly) Hamburger... Elsewhere, Blaze is now at a pier. AJ (to the viewer:) Check out our firefighter alarm. There were three emergencies, but we put out the fire at the birdhouse. One light goes out. AJ How many emergencies do we have left? Viewer responds "Two." AJ Two, right! Blaze Huh, I wonder where the next emergency could be. He stops. AJ Look! Over there! On a nearby island is a lighthouse, fires blazing in its windows. Blaze Gaskets! That lighthouse is on fire! AJ (getting off) But how are we gonna get there? The lighthouse is on an island way out in the water! Blaze (to the viewer:) To save the lighthouse, we need a special firefighting vehicle that's made to go on the water. We need... a fire boat! AJ Yeah! (shows watch) A fire boat uses a pump to pull in water from below the boat. Then, it sends the water out of a big water cannon to put out fire. Blaze Come on! Help build the parts to turn me into a fire boat! Transformation interface appears. Blaze First, I need the hull, so our fire boat can float on the water. To make the hull, say "Hull." Hull! Hull materializes. Blaze Great! Now, we just need a water cannon to blast out the water from our pump. To make the water cannon, say "Water cannon." Water cannon! Water cannon materializes. Blaze A-all right! I'm a Fire Boat Mmmmmmmmonster Machine!! Blaze transforms; AJ gets on and activates the siren before Blaze takes off. Blaze Whoo-hoo! AJ Yeah-heh-heh! There's the lighthouse, straight ahead! He approaches the lowest window. Blaze Activating fire boat pump! The pump begins to spin and maneuver water through the pipe up to the hose, which sprays. AJ It's working! Our pump is moving water from the ocean to the water cannon! The water is spraying just to the right of the fire. Blaze Help us aim so we're spraying water right on to those flames. To hit the flames, should we aim to the left, or the right? Viewer responds "Left." Blaze To the left, yeah! The water is maneuvered toward the fire, extinguishing it. Blaze Whooooo-hoo! AJ It worked! Blaze Now, let's blast water on those flames over there. He goes to the next window higher up. AJ Activating fire boat pump! The pump spins, moving water to the hose; the water hits the wall above the window. Blaze To hit these flames, should we aim the water higher, or lower? Viewer responds "Lower." Blaze Lower, yeah! The water goes to the fire; it puts it out. AJ All right! Blaze We did it! AJ Come on, Blaze! Just one more set of flames to go! The last one is in the highest window. Blaze Activating fire boat pump! Pump, spray; the water lands just below the window. AJ To put out these last flames, should we aim higher, or lower? Viewer responds "Higher." AJ Higher! The water goes to the fire, putting it out. Blaze Oh-ho, yeah! All the fires are out. Blaze Whooooo-hoo-hoo! AJ You did it, Blaze! (to the viewer:) Check it out! Saving the lighthouse was our second emergency. The second light goes out. AJ How many emergencies are left? Viewer responds "One." AJ One, yeah! Blaze, AJ Firefighters to the rescue! Blaze zooms back to land and reverts to fire truck form before going on. Back at the park... Pickle (gasps) Crusher, come quick! Here he comes; he shows yet another pretend fire. Crusher Ugh. What is it this time, Pickle? Pickle It's only the biggest pretend fire yet! And there's only one pretend firefighter that can pretend put out a fire this big — Firefighter Crusher! Crusher Well, it's true... I am pretty great... Okay, Pickle, I'll do it! Pickle Hooray!! I'll get your hose. (zips off) Crusher Just remember, Pickle — This time, I want a hose that sprays water! Picklew (comes back with hose) I'm sorry, Crusher! (grunts) I didn't hear that! Were you saying something? Crusher Ah! There it is! My hose! (takes it) Now move aside, Pickle! I'm about to spray that fire with water and be a hero! Pickle You sure are! The hose starts... Pickle Only, that's not a water hose. Crusher Not a water hose? Pickle Nope! It's... an underpants hose! Crusher An underpants hose!?!?!? Underpants spray all over him. Crusher (frightened sputtering; sighs) Now Blaze is in a jungle. Blaze Keep a lookout, firefighters. We've gotta find that last fire emergency. AJ Hey, I know! Let's use my visor to look and see where there's smoke! Switching to Visor View. He activates his visor. Shows a cave, no suspicious activity here. AJ Do you see any smoke near that cave? Viewer responds "No." AJ Nope. Let's try someplace else. Shows a waterfall; again, nothing suspicious. AJ Do you see smoke by the waterfall? Viewer responds "No." AJ Uh-uh. Let's keep looking. Shows distant mountains; some of which are smoking. AJ Do you see smoke by those mountains? Viewer responds "Yes." AJ Yeah! Blaze But it's not a fire making all that smoke; it's something even hotter! It's...erupting volcanoes!! Indeed they are. AJ Oh, man! This is gonna be our biggest emergency yet! Blaze Then we'd better hurry. It's time to use... Fire Truck Blazing Speed! The boosters come out of his backside and fire up. Blaze To give me Blazing Speed, say "Leeeet's Blaze!" Blaze, AJ Leeeeeeet's Blaze! He unleashes the speed; elsewhere, monkeys, zebras, and a panda are in a panic when they hear Blaze's horn, heralding his arrival. They cheer as Blaze stops and AJ dismounts. AJ Hey there, animals! Blaze AJ and I are here to save your jungle from those volcanoes! AJ Yeah! But to cool off hot lava, we're gonna need the most amazing firefighting vehicle yet: a super scooper! Shows the watch. AJ A super scooper is an airplane with a huge tank that scoops up water. Then it flies to wherever there's an emergency, and dumps the water out. Blaze (to the viewer:) Come on! Let's build a super scooper and cool off those volcanoes! Transformation interface appears. Blaze First, let's build the wings so I can fly. To make the wings, say "Wings." Wings! Wings materialize. Blaze Great! Now we just need a water tank to scoop up lots of water. To make the water tank, say "Water tank." Water tank! Water tank materializes. Blaze Yeah-heh! I'm a Super Scooper Mmmmmmmmmonster Machine! Blaze transforms and flies around; AJ gets on and he sets off, siren blaring. He flies down to a nearby lake. AJ Scooping water! The hatch on the water tank opens to let the water flow in; he flies back up. Blaze Now we just have to look for a volcano that's erupting, so we can dump out the water and cool the hot lava. Behind shot as he cruises. Blaze Look carefully. When you see lava, say "Lava." Time passes; the first volcano appears, viewer responds. Blaze Lava! He flies over and dumps the water over the lava, cooling it down to solid rock. Blaze Whooooo-hoo! AJ It worked! Our water cooled the hot lava! He flies back to the lake and reloads. Blaze Scooping water! Back up. AJ Be on the lookout for the next volcano. Behind shot. AJ When you see hot lava, say "Lava." Time passes; another volcano appears, viewer responds. AJ Lava! He flies over and cools down the lava. Blaze Whoo-hoo-hoo! AJ All right! Yeah! Only one volcano left! He goes back to the lake and refills one more time. Blaze Help us find that last erupting volcano. Behind shot. Blaze When you see lava, say "Lava." Time passes; the final volcano appears, viewer responds. Blaze Lava! He flies over and releases the water, cooling it down; all the volcanos have stopped. Blaze Whooooo-hoo-hoo! We cooled the hot lava and saved the jungle! AJ And check out our firefighter alarm! The last light goes out. AJ We took care of all the emergencies! Blaze That's right! Wherever there's an emergency, you can always count on firefighters to save the day! Firefighters... Blaze, AJ To the rescue! He flies around before reverting back to fire truck form and going back the way he came; the song from before reprises. Blaze, AJ We're fired up, fired up AJ Help is on the way Blaze, AJ We're fired up, fired up AJ Here to save the day Blaze, AJ We'll race to the rescue as fast as we can There's a five alarm blaze, but we'll lend a hand We're fired up, fired up Yeah-ah-ah We're fired up, fired up Yeah-ah-ah We're fired up!
