  • Darington, Gabby and Watts don't appear in this episode.
  • This is the second Halloween episode since Truck or Treat!.
    • This is the first Halloween episode where Darington and Gabby don't appear.
      • This making Watts the only Monster Machine to not participate in Halloween.
    • This was technically the third Halloween production after the 2020 short of the same name.
  • Unlike Truck or Treat!, Blaze and his friends' costumes are different.
    • Blaze's costume is a dragon instead of a Knight.
    • AJ's costume is a astronaut instead of a Superhero.
    • Stripes' costume is a shark instead of a Pirate.
    • Starla's costume is a robot instead of a Witch.
    • Zeg's costume is a mummy instead of a King.
    • Crusher now has a costume in this episode, since he's dressed as a chicken.
  • This episode was originally called "The Great Halloween Race".
  • Technically collisions were taught again but under a different synonym "Impact".
  • Crusher doesn't build cheats to stop anyone in a race for the second time.
  • Despite Blaze and Crusher competing against each other, they never actually speak to each other throughout the entire episode.

Running Gags[]

  • Just like "Toy Trouble!" where Pickle gives Crusher pickle-themed toys, he gives Crusher pickled-themed candy which makes him disgusted.

Allusions[]

  • Stripes bears resemblances to "Tiger Shark" from the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks toy-line, with the Shark costume.

Goofs[]

  • When Crusher wakes up the Cookie Bats, there are six of them, but when after Blaze and his friends fed three bats who wanted chocolate chip cookies, four bats were chasing them after that. Then after feeding the bats who wanted oatmeal cookies, six more bats followed them.
    • There should've been 13 bats chasing them in the first place.
  • At the end of the episode, Blaze flew away on a broom towards the moon, but the broom disappeared when Blaze flew in front of the moon.
