Robots to the Rescue Transcript Transcript In the Robot Headquarters, Watts, Stripes, Zeg, and Starla come down the slide. Watts, Stripes, Zeg, and Starla Whoo-hoo!/Ha-ha-ha! Yeah!/Whoo-hoo!/Whoo!/Yeah!/Yee-haw! They land in the spotlight. Watts, Stripes, Zeg, and Starla (laugh) Starla Now, that was some fuuuuun slidin'! Stripes Hey, has anyone seen Darington? Darington (singing, coming down slide) DARINGTOOOOOOOON!!!!! Oh...whoa!! (crash lands) Watts, Stripes, Zeg, Starla, and Darington (laugh) Darington Huh. So what is this place? The room lights up. Stripes Whoa! Zeg Ohh! Starla Wow! Zeg Whoa! Blaze arrives near the zipline, in robot form and with AJ and Gabby in tow. Blaze Hey, everyone! Welcome to Robot Headquarters! Darington, Watts, and Starla Whoa!/Wow! Stripes It's Blaze! And he's...a robot! Blaze ziplines down to them. Blaze, AJ, and Gabby Whoo-hoo-hoo!/Whoo-hoo!/Yeah-heh-heh! Darington Wow! Stripes Raar! Starla Whoo-hoo! Gabby and AJ get off. Watts Check you out! Zeg Ooh! Robot Blaze have legs! Darington And arms! Starla And hands! Watts Hey, Blaze. What's it like being a robot? Zeg Blaze look big and strong! Zeg like big and strong! Blaze Well, maybe you guys can turn into robots too then you can see for yourselves! Watts Us? Starla Turn into robots?! AJ Yeah! Gabby We can transform everyone into robots, just like Blaze! Stripes Raawr! Darington (sings:) LET'S DO IIIIIIIIIT!!! View becomes a blue grid; Blaze uses his foglights to project the robot transformation interface. Blaze First, let's design our robots to have powerful legs. To make the robot legs, say "Robot legs." Robot legs! Robot legs materialize. Gabby Next, we've got to add a big robot body. To make the robot body, say "Robot body." Robot body! Robot body materializes. AJ Now all we need are two super strong robot arms. To make the robot arms, say "Robot arms." Robot arms! Robot arms materialize. Stripes Raaaawr! Come on, everyone! Let's be robots! Watts Whoo-hoo! Darington Yeah-heh-heh! Starla Yeah! One by one the Monster Machines transform. Stripes Robot Stripes! Starla Starla! Zeg Zeg! Watts Watts! Darington (sings:) DARINGTOOOOOOOON!!!!! All of the Monster Machines are robots. Starla Shoo-wee! Check us out! Stripes We've got robot... Monster Machines POWER!!! They start training; travel song starts. Blaze and AJ Robot power Blaze We're engineered for awesome Got all the best technology Processing lots of data With our computer circutry AJ So, let's get excited (Come on!) We're programmed for fun And to get the job done (Whoaaaaa....) Blaze and AJ Robot power Robot, yea-ah (Yeah!) You know we've got robot power You know we've got robot...power! (Yeah!) Robot power (Yeah!) Robot...power! Song ends. Monster Machines (cheering) The headquarters computer sounds an alarm. Zeg Hmm, what that sound? Starla Bust my bumpers! It's the headquarters alarm! Blaze We'd better go check it out. They head to the computer; AJ and Gabby man the controls. On the screen, three pictures are flashing. Gabby (to the viewer:) Those flashing lights mean there's an emergency somewhere. Darington And it looks like there are three emergencies, all happening at the same time! Stripes Oh no! Blaze Let's see what this first emergency is. The first picture shows a train charging through the desert at high speed. Engineer HELLLLLLLP! IT'S NOT STOPPING! Starla Hopping hubcaps! That train can't stop! Watts It's out of control! Zeg Uh-oh! That bad! Gabby We'd better check the second emergency. The second picture shows the glue factory malfunctioning and squirting glue everywhere. Worker Trucks Agh!!!/Oh, watch out!/Whoa-ho! AJ (gasps) Sticky glue is blasting from that factory! Blue Worker Truck SOMEBODY HELP! Yellow Worker Truck WE CAN'T GET OUT! Darington Oh no! Stripes Those trucks are stuck in the glue! Zeg That really bad!! Starla Well, I reckon this last emergency can't possibly be worse than that. Unless it's... The third picture shows a volcano about to erupt. Starla A VOLCANO!? Frightened noises are heard; animals are stuck on rocks surrounded by the lava. Stripes Those poor animals! Watts They're surrounded by hot lava! Zeg Hot lava? That really, really bad!!! Darington We've gotta find some way to help everyone who's in trouble! But how? Blaze There's only one power strong enough for emergencies this big. Robot power! Monster Machines, AJ, and Gabby Yeah! Zeg Robots to the rescue! AJ All right! AJ and Gabby board Blaze and Watts, respectively. Blaze This way, everyone! Follow me! They get on the elevator out and jump over a building to the city streets. Blaze, AJ, Gabby, Watts, Stripes, Zeg, Starla, and Darington (various cheering) They set off; elsewhere at the park, Pickle is playing catch with a green and white spotted egg-shaped robot. Pickle Yay! Good pass, Beeper! Beeper beeps happily. Pickle Again? Ha-ha...all right, here it comes! He tosses the ball and Beeper hurries to catch it; the ball bounces off another robot which is blue and rectangular, and it turns around irritated. Pickle Ooh! Look, Beeper! Another robot! Hmm, I wonder who you belong to, little fella. Crusher drives up. Crusher Well, Pickle, I see you've met my robot, Klunk. Pickle Clunk? Oh-ho, Crusher, this is great! We both have robots! You know, I've been teaching Beeper how to make juice. Watch this. Beeper, juice please! Beeper presents a cup of juice; Pickle drinks it. Pickle Mmm, apple juice! Thanks, Beeper! Crusher Making juice? Pfft, ha! Klunk can do that, easy! Hey clunk, make me some juice! Klunk follows the request. Crusher See? I knew Klunk could do it. And I bet this juice is even better than your robot's juice. It's probably orange juice, or pineapple juice, or... He sips; suddenly a group of frogs pop out of the cup. Crusher Frog juice?!? (yelps and shrieks, runs away) Klunk shrugs. In the desert, the train is still moving. Engineer Oh man, it's no use! I can't stop this train! Blaze and Starla jump on top of the roof. Blaze But maybe we can! Engineer Whoa! Robots! Starla That's right! Blaze Come on, Robot Starla! If we're gonna stop this train, we've gotta... They push the front of the train. Blaze and Starla PUUUUUUSH!! (strain and groan) Starla The train's so big! Even with our robot strength, i-it's not stoppin'! Blaze (groans) We've gotta push harder! AJ (to the viewer:) Right now, the robots are pushing with a strength of 1. So let's give their arms and legs more power to push with a strength of 6! Blaze Count to 6 with us. Blaze, AJ, and Starla 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6! The motherboard lines on their bodies begin to glow, and they push harder. Blaze Look, we're getting stronger! Starla And the train, it's slowin' down! Engineer But it's not stopped yet. And we're headed right for... An unfinished track is ahead, stopping at a wide cliff. Engineer That cliff! Starla Hoppin' hubcaps! We've gotta push harder! AJ Let's increase the robot strength from 6 to 12! Blaze Count to 12 with us. Start at 6. Blaze, AJ, and Starla 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12! They push even harder. Starla Shoo-whee! The train's slowin' down even more! Blaze But it's not stopped yet, and we're almost at the cliff! Engineer (gasps; covers eyes) I can't look!! AJ Quick! Let's give the robots the most strength yet! A pushing strength of 18! Blaze Count to 18 with us. Start at 12. Blaze, AJ, and Starla 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18! They push the hardest of all; the train finally stops just before the cliff. AJ Yeah-heh-heh-heh! Blaze All right! Starla Whoo! We did it, y'all! We stopped the train, just in time! And I mean just in time! Blaze Phew! Engineer (gasps) You did it! Oh-ho, thank you, robots! Thank you, thank you! Blaze Oh, you're welcome. Starla You're makin' a robot blush. Ha-ha! AJ (to the viewer:) Take a look. There were three emergencies, but we just stopped the train. Now we just have to rescue the workers stuck in glue, and the animals at the volcano. Blaze To fix those emergencies, our robot friends are gonna need help.  Starla Well, bust my bumper! We'd best get movin'!  AJ Robot... Blaze, AJ, and Starla POWER! (take off) Engineer So long, robots! And good luck! Back at the park, Pickle is still playing with Beeper. Pickle (giggles) Mmm! Hey, Beeper, you know what would go great with this juice? A sandwich! Crusher A sandwich? Pfft, yeah, right. Like your robot could make a sandwich. Beeper makes one. Pickle (gasps) A cheese sandwich?! Great job, Beeper! (eats it) Mmm...yum-my! Crusher Pfft! A cheese sandwich? I'm sure Klunk can make a way better sandwich than that! Klu-unk! Make me the best sandwich anyone's ever had! Klunk does so. Crusher Ha-ha! Now, this looks like a tasty sandwich! Ooh, I bet it has tomatoes... (eats it) Mmm! And veggies...mmm, mmm, mmm...and... One hard chomp; the sandwich has toothbrushes in it. Crusher TOOTHBRUSHES?!? Oh, yuck, yuck! Eww! (tosses sandwich) Aaaaagh!!! (runs away) Klunk puts the sandwich in his belly compartment, burping in turn. At the glue factory, glue is blasting everywhere. Blue Worker Truck Aaaagh!! Pink Worker Truck Whoaaaa!!! Orange Worker Truck So much glue! Pink Worker Truck Whoaaa...don't get stuck, don't get stuck, don't get stuck... (glue falls on her) I'm stuck! Here come Zeg and Stripes. Stripes Raawr! Zeg Zeeeeeeeg! Stripes Not for long, you're not! Stripes saves the pink truck. Pink Worker Truck Hooray! Zeg saves the yellow and orange trucks. Yellow Worker Truck Whoo-hoo! Stripes rescues a blue truck. Blue Worker Truck Phew! Thanks, robots! Stripes and Zeg fist bump. Worker Voice #1 HELP! Worker Voice #2 WE'RE IN HERE! Stripes Uh-oh, sounds like more workers need our help inside the factory! Zeg Robots coming! They enter. Worker Voice #1 HELLLLLP! Worker Voice #2 WE'RE STUCK! Worker Voice #3 HELP! Stripes Rawwr! Three more workers are stuck in glue! Zeg Uh-oh! But how we save them? Glue keep blasting! Blaze horn sounds; he and Starla make their entrance. Blaze We can help! Zeg Friends! Stripes You made it! Starla That's right! And we're gonna help you get them workers outta that glue! AJ Look! All of the glue is shooting out of those broken pipes. But if we plug up those holes, we can stop the glue and save the workers! Blaze Good thinking, AJ! (to the viewer:) Come on, let's figure out what shape we need to plug this first pipe. Cuts to the pipe hole. Blaze Hmm, looks like we need a piece shaped like this. Shows a row of metal pieces, red, green and blue; the outline for the piece needed appears above. Blaze Which of these metal pieces has the same shape? The blue one matches the outline; viewer responds. Blaze The blue one, right! (grabs it) Stripes Here, Blaze! Throw it to me! Blaze throws the piece to Stripes; he jumps up to the pipe and plugs it. Stripes Rar! Starla Yee-haw! Zeg That pipe fits! Pink Worker Truck #1 Wow! Stripes Now let's get you outta there! (pulls the truck out) Pink Worker Truck #1 Hooray! Thank you, robots! Yellow Worker Truck #2 Ooh! Ooh! Save me next! Starla Look, y'all! Another feller stuck in the glue! AJ To save this worker, we've gotta plug the hole up there! Blaze The hole is shaped like this, so let's look for a metal piece with the same shape. Shows three more pieces, green, blue and purple. Blaze Which piece is the same shape? The green one is right; viewer responds. Blaze The green one, yeah! Starla Yee-haw! (grabs it) Here, Zeg! Catch! (throws it to Zeg) Zeg Zeeeeg! He punches the piece to the pipe, clogging it. Blaze, AJ, Stripes, and Starla (cheering) Zeg pulls the truck out of the glue. Zeg You safe now. Yellow Worker Truck #2 Wow, you're strong! Starla Well, I'll be! Looks like there's only one truck left to rescue. Blue Worker Truck #2 That's me! Stripes Uh-oh! But that pipe is blasting out the most glue yet! Blaze Come on, we can stop it! To plug this last pipe, we need a piece shaped like this. Now there are four pieces, purple, green, red and blue. Blaze Which piece has the same shape? The red one does; viewer responds. Blaze The red piece! AJ Go for it, Robot Blaze! Blaze grabs the piece and heads for the pipe. Blaze Whooooo-hoo-hoo! (plugs the pipe) AJ All right! Blaze rescues the truck. Blue Worker Truck #2 Whoa! Thanks, Robot Blaze! Starla Yahoo! Stripes Yeah! Zeg Hee-hee...everyone safe now! AJ (to the viewer:) Check it out. We helped with two emergencies. That means there's only one left: the animals at the volcano. Blaze Come on, gang! To save those animals, our robot friends need all the help they can get! Starla Yeah! Stripes Raawr! Zeg Save animals! Stripes Robot... Blaze, AJ, Stripes, Starla, and Zeg POWER!!! All set off. Back at the park, Pickle finishes his sandwich. Pickle Mmm! Oh...you know, all this eating is making me hungry for dessert. Crusher Dessert? Where are you gonna get dessert around here? Pickle I can just ask Beeper! Beeper, can you make me dessert? Beeper makes a pie. Pickle Cherry pie? What?! That's my favorite! (eats it) Mmm!! Hey Crusher, you wanna share my pie? Crusher Nah, I don't want that pie. Not when I can have Klunk make me the yummiest pie ever! Right, Klunk? Klunk grumbles and fulfills the request. Crusher Ooh, it's ready! The world's tastiest pie! Pickle Oh boy! Do you think I could have a bite? Crusher No way, Pickle! I'm not sharing this pie with anyone! Not when it's full of the sweetest, the most delicious... A skunk pops out of the pie. Crusher SKUNK!!?? AGH! (spits) Ahh! (shrieks and runs away) Pickle So...who wants pie? Beeper, Klunk and the skunk all agree. At the volcano, the animals are still stranded. Darington (in distance, singing:) DARINGTOOOOOOOON!!!!! Here comes Darington, Gabby, Watts. Darington Okay, animals! Time to get saved! They jump to the rocks, Watts to a zebra and Darington to a gorilla. Watts Don't worry, little zebra, we'll save you!  Darington Whoo-hoo-hoo! They bring them to the grass safe and sound. Watts You're welcome, animals! Blaze's horn sounds. Gabby Look! Our friends are here! The rest of the Monster Machines join them. Blaze Whooooo-hoo-hoo! Starla Yee-haw! Zeg Zeg! Stripes All right! Darington Ha-ha! Watts You made it! Darington And just in time - we've still got more animals to save. More animals are stuck. Blaze Come on, robots! Let's get to work! Blaze, AJ, Gabby, Watts, Stripes, Zeg, Starla, and Darington (various whooping and cheering) They rescue the animals one by one; suddenly, more wailing is heard. AJ Hang on, Blaze! That sounds like more animals in trouble! Blaze I think it came from over there. Reveal monkeys stuck as well. Blaze Hubcaps! Look! AJ Those poor monkeys! They still need rescuing, but...they're so far away! Commercial break. Restarts from after the animals are brought to land. AJ Hang on, Blaze! That sounds like more animals in trouble! Blaze I think it came from over there. Reveal monkeys stuck as well. Blaze Hubcaps! Look! AJ Those poor monkeys! They still need rescuing, but...they're so far away! Blaze I'll have to use my powerful robot legs to jump over all this lava and save them! AJ Yeah! And we can help you get there, with coding! (to the viewer) Coding is when you give instructions to tell a machine what to do. Cut to the control panel; the monkey is on the second rock from the left. AJ To get to that monkey, we could try giving Blaze this code: jump forward, jump forward, jump forward. Will this code get Blaze to the monkey? It won't; viewer responds "No." AJ No. That code will take Blaze to this rock. That's not where the monkey is. Let's try a different code. We could try: jump forward, jump forward, jump left. Will this code get Blaze to the monkey? Now it will; viewer responds "Yes." AJ Yeah! That's where the monkey is! So the code is: go, jump forward, jump forward, jump left, stop. The motherboard lines on Blaze glow and he carries out the instructions. Blaze Go!...Jump forward!...Jump forward!...Jump left!...And stop! He makes it to the monkey, who chitters happily. Blaze Glad you're safe, little monkey. Now, hop on, we've gotta rescue your friend over there. Shows another monkey; on the control panel, it is three rocks ahead. AJ Here's a code we can try: jump forward, jump forward, jump forward. Will this code get Blaze to the monkey? Viewer responds "Yes." AJ Yes! This code will tell Robot Blaze exactly where to go. Blaze begins to follow the code. Blaze Go!...Jump forward!...Jump forward!...Jump forward!...And stop! He gets to the rock and the second monkey hops on. Blaze All right! Just one last monkey to save. Shows the third monkey; on the control panel, it's on the second rock from the right, three rocks ahead. AJ Let's see if this code will get us there: jump forward, jump forward, jump forward, jump left. Will this code get Blaze to the monkey? Viewer responds "No." AJ No, that's not where the monkey is. Let's try a new code: jump forward, jump forward, jump forward, jump right. Will this code get Blaze to the monkey? Viewer responds "Yes." AJ Yeah-heh! These instructions will tell Robot Blaze just what to do! Blaze I've got the code! (follows it) Go!...Jump forward!...Jump forward!...Jump forward!...Jump right!...And stop! He makes it to the rock and helps the third monkey on. AJ All right! We saved 'em! Blaze Now hang on, monkeys, let's get you to where it's safe. He returns to land and reunites the monkeys with the other animals. Others (various cheering) Darington Way to go, Blaze! Watts Now all the animals are safe! Starla Shoo-whee, I just wish there was some way to plug up that volcano. Stripes Yeah! Then the animals wouldn't have to worry about lava ever again! Gabby That's true! Watts But where are we going to find something big enough to plug a volcano? Zeg Ooh! What about this big rock Zeg find? (presents it) Others Whoa! Starla Bust my bumpers! That's perfect! Darington Uh...guys? If we're gonna plug up this volcano, we should probably do it fast...because it's about to ERUPT AGAIN! The animals chatter worryingly. Blaze Come on, Robots! Time to use Blazing Speed! One by one they fire up the boosters on their backs. Blaze (to the viewer:) To give us Blazing Speed, say "Leeeet's Blaze!" Monster Machines, AJ, and Gabby Leeeeeeet's Blaaaaaaze!!! All take off super fast; first Zeg kicks the rock for Watts to punch upward. Starla lassos it up to Darington, who kicks it up further. Stripes kicks it up even further, and Blaze jumps up, honking as he gives it one final punch which plugs the volcano's crater, making it cool down. Monster Machines, AJ, and Gabby (various cheering and whooping) Starla We did it, y'all! Darington Yeah-heh! Blaze Looks like there's no emergency too big for us robots, 'cause we've got robot...
