Special Mission Blaze Trivia Trivia Stripes, Starla, Darington, Zeg, Watts and Sparkle don't appear in this episode. This is one of the many episodes to have Blaze's name in the title. This is also one of the many episodes where Crusher doesn't open his bags to build things. This is the third episode with no travel song or STEM song, the others being Animal Island and Blazing Amazing Stories. This is the fifth episode with no transformations, the others being Power Tires, AJ to the Rescue, Blazing Amazing Stories, and Race to Sky High Mountain. This is the second episode to have a narrator, the first being Monster Machine Christmas. In the scene where Blaze and his friends encountered the Chomper Fish, they look almost like the Trapper Fish Crusher made in Deep Sea Grand Prix. This is the fourth time a character encounters lasers. The first three are Dragon Island Duel, The Trophy Chase, and The Tiger Treasure. Density is the second STEM topic without having a song, the first was "Observation" on Blazing Amazing Stories. This is one of the many episodes where Crusher is on his good side. Although he shows his good side, his role as the antagonist is taken by the Toothbrush Taker. As of October 2, 2022, this episode gained a special theme song based on the theme, "Special Mission". It has been turned into a mini-series, with episodes airing in Season 7. This is the only Special Missions episode of Season 6. This is the first time the theme song sounds different. Running Gags Every time the Toothbrush Taker tells his rocket to blast off, the rocket keeps on doing the incorrect commands. Similarly, this also happens to Crusher in "Robots in Space" when he tells Pickle to tell the rocket ships to blast off but with Pickle giving the incorrect commands. Crusher sobbing about his toothbrush. Allusions Goofs When this episode was first up on Nickjr.com, it was somehow shortened to only include the end credits, and its URL was incomplete. This error was fixed on March 3, 2022.
