The Great Space Race Trivia Timeline After Blaze of Glory and Robots in Space Trivia Gabby, Stripes, Starla, Darington, Zeg and Watts don't appear in this episode. This is the second space adventure after Robots in Space. This is the third time Blaze and AJ go into space after Darington to the Moon! and Robots in Space. This is the last episode to use the DHX Media logo at the end. This is the actually the first time where Crusher and Pickle go into space. Even though Crusher tried to go in Darington to the Moon! and Robots in Space but failed to do so because he kept falling into the food stand and Pickle giving the wrong commands the past two times respectively. This is also one of the few episodes where Crusher makes up some jokes after he cheats, following Race to Eagle Rock, The Hundred Mile Race, Catch That Cake!, Ready, Set, Roar!, Snow Day Showdown, The Flying Lion, and The Midnight Mile. This is the first time a bighorn was seen in space. Running Gags Whenever Crusher meets up with Pickle, the latter is usually looking for a type of food in space. Crusher would later pass it off as silliness before said food splats on his rocket. Allusions AJ's spacesuit uses boosters on the soles of his boots and the palms of his gloves to navigate space, much like the repulsors on the suit of Marvel superhero Iron Man. Crusher wakes the Space Bighorns using a distorted version of an air horn sound effect popularly used in memes. Goofs When Zork screams for Blaze when lost, the captions say "Wait!".
