Pirate Grand Prix Trivia Trivia This is the first episode of Season 8. This episode marks the return of Pegwheel since Race for the Golden Treasure. This is Pegwheel’s first race, similar to Pickle's first race in The Team Truck Challenge, and Gasquatch's first race in Super Slide Trophy. Blaze is having another Grand Prix like he did in Axle City Grand Prix and Deep Sea Grand Prix. Some of the pirate racers appeared from previous episodes. Blaze is in a hot air balloon like he was in Race to the Top of the World when he and his friends built a hot air balloon to get over a third sand trap and arrived in France and in The Big Balloon Rescue when Crusher and Pickle were in stuck in a hot air balloon. When Crusher built the Sky Sharks, there were 26 of them. This is the most of amount of copies of a certain invention he made. Blaze is going across a lagoon like he did in Blaze and the Magic Genie when he helped Genie get his red wishing jewel back from some crocodiles, who were in a lagoon hiding under leaves that were not symmetrical. Blaze is having another pirate episode like he did in Treasure Track, Race for the Golden Treasure, The Island of Lost Treasure, and The Pillow Pirate. As all the Sky Sharks collided with each other, they break into blue smog. That is the eighth time Crusher inventions vaporize. As of this episode, the Nickelodeon Productions ending tag plays its sound. This is the third time Crusher builds a invention in a season premiere. Crusher had made Sky Sharks even though he made a Shark-Bot in Tool Duel and Snow Sharks in Snow Day Showdown and Blaze turned into a shark in The Great Animal Crown and saw a real shark in Lifeguard Blaze. Crusher made robo-crabs even though he had trouble with a crab in Epic Sail and woke up some crabs in The Midnight Mile and Blaze saw some crabs in Deep Sea Grand Prix. This is the first time Pegwheel transforms together with Blaze. Running Gags Crusher filling the blank to Pickle's song, which cause something to appear out of nowhere and engulf him. Goofs When Pegwheel sees the island while he and Blaze were almost there, Crusher's ship is not there. At the end of the episode, Whale-Linda can be seen in the treasure trophy. It is unknown how she got out of the water, though. Allusions The Robo-Crabs Crusher builds are similar to the Robot Crabs from the Team Umizoomi episode, "Legend of the Blue Mermaid".
