The Super-Size Prize Transcript Transcript Blaze and AJ are at the carnival, bouncing in the bouncy house. Blaze and AJ (various laughter) They jump out to face the viewer. Blaze (to the viewer:) Hey! Guess what's happening today? It's the Axle City Fair! Shows the various rides. Ferris wheel operator Ferris wheel! Two coins to ride the ferris wheel! AJ Ooh! Let's do the ferris wheel next! Blaze gets out a bag of coins. Blaze Good thing we brought a lot of coins to the fair, 'cause we wanna do everything! He steps up to the ferris wheel operator. Blaze Here you go, two coins. Ferris wheel operator (chuckles) Have a nice ride! They get on. Blaze and AJ (laugh) They pay one coin each to use the ball toss booth; both knock down their jars. AJ Yeah-heh! Blaze pays one coin at the hot dog stand; AJ gets a big hot dog while Blaze gets a small one. Blaze and AJ (laugh) They laugh and switch the hot dogs; now they ride the spinning tire ride. Blaze and AJ Whee-hee-hee-hee! Yeah-heh-heh!/Whoa! Whoo-hoo! (laugh) They jump off and AJ dismounts. AJ So what should we do next? Barker Ladies and gentletrucks! Step right up to see the most amazing machine in all the world! Blaze Come on, let's go check it out! They investigate. Barker Presenting the one, the only... Super-size Prize Machines! A massive gumball machine filled with capsules appears out of smoke. Crowd Ooh!/Wow!/Whoa! Blaze and AJ A Super-size Prize Machine?! Barker And to get your super-size prize, it only costs three coins! A pink truck steps up. Pink truck Ooh! Ooh! I have three coins! She puts in the coins and twists the handle; one capsule comes out. Pink truck (gasps) I got... The capsule opens and reveals a ball that bounces. Pink truck A bouncy ball! Barker Ah, not just any bouncy ball, it's... The ball grows to giant size. Barker A super-size bouncy ball! She rides on it. Pink truck Whee! I love my super size-prize! Blaze Whoa-ho-ho! That's the biggest bouncy ball I've ever seen! Now a purple truck steps up. Purple truck Ooh-hoo! I have three coins! (puts them in) I want a super-size prize too! He turns the handle and gets a capsule. Purple truck Ah-ha-ha! I got... It opens to reveal an elephant toy. Purple truck An elephant toy! Barker Not exactly, sir. It's... It grows in size like the ball did. Barker A super-size elephant toy! Crowd Ooooooh! The elephant trumpets as it sprays water. Purple truck (laughs) This is the best prize I've ever gotten! AJ Wow, these super-size prizes are amazing! Blaze Come on, AJ! Let's you and me get a prize. We can use our coins and- (takes out his money bag) Uh-oh. AJ What is it, Blaze? Blaze It looks like... we don't have any more coins! He presents the bag to the viewer; it is empty without a coin in sight. AJ Oh, no! But then we can't get a prize! Blaze Hmm... well then, we'll just have to earn more coins! AJ Yeah! We can find jobs to earn money! Blaze And when we've earned three coins, we'll get a super-size prize of our very own! AJ Come on, Blaze! Let's get to work! AJ gets on Blaze and they set off; a song starts to play. AJ Get to work, get to work Let's get to work, get to work We all have different jobs to do (Yeah) Each day we're discoverin' something new (Oh, yeah) Whether you are a barber or baker Dentist, teacher, pilot or painter It's time to have a job party Come on, everybody! Get to work! (Get to work, whoo!) No matter where you are Let's get to work! (Get to work, whoo!) Feels good when you're workin' hard Let's work! (Get to work, oh yeah) We'll do our best and we'll have some fun (Whoo!) Just keep that good time goin' 'til we get the job done Let's get to work! Song ends; one truck named Lucy, is watering some flowers in a box. Lucy (singing indistinctly) Oh, Blaze! AJ! Over here! Blaze stops to the sound of her voice. AJ (to the viewer:) It's our friend, Lucy the gardener. Gardeners take care of plants and flowers. They go over. Blaze Hiya, Lucy! Lucy Did I hear you two are lookin' to earn some money? Blaze That's right. We're trying to earn enough to get a super-size prize. Lucy Well, I've got a job you can do: I need someone to water the flowers way up at the top of this building. Blaze Whoa! Those flowers are pretty high, but we can do it! Lucy Ho ho, great! Then the job is yours. Good luck! (leaves) AJ (gets off) Too bad there's not a machine that can help us water flowers on a super tall building. Blaze Well, then... let's invent a machine! AJ Yeah! We can use...mechanical engineering! That's when you design new machines to solve problems. Blaze I know! Let's design a machine that has big tanks full of water, and a special blaster that can shoot the water, and a giant sissor lift to lift us to the top of the  building. As Blaze speaks, each part appears over him one at a time. Blaze Check it out! We used mechanical engineering to design the world's first Monster Machine sky sprayer! Blaze transforms. AJ Wow, Blaze! I've never seen a machine like this! (boards Blaze) Blaze Going up! They go up. AJ Sky sprayer blast! They water the first box of flowers before them. Blaze and AJ Yeah-heh-heh!/Whoo-hoo! They go up further; but the water from Blaze's hose only squrts the window; the flowerbox is above such. AJ Uh-oh, the water's not hitting those flowers! Blaze (to the viewer:) Come on, help us aim the hose. Cut to Blaze's viewpoint. Blaze To hit these flowers, should we spray higher or lower? Viewer responds "Higher." Blaze Higher! Yeah! They reach the flowers. AJ All right! We're watering 'em! Blaze And now the flowers are blooming! AJ Come on, let's water some more! They go up further. AJ Sky sprayer blast! Cut to viewpoint; again AJ misses, the flowerbox is right below the water. Blaze To hit the flowers, should we spray higher or lower? Viewer responds "Lower." Blaze Lower! Yes! The flowers are watered. AJ Yeah-heh-heh! They're blooming! Lucy Just one more, Blaze! Blaze Last flowers, dead ahead! He goes up even further. AJ Sky sprayer blast! He sprays, yet again misses; the flowerbox is to the right of the water. Blaze To water these last flowers, should we spray to the left, or to the right? Viewer responds "To the right." Blaze To the right! The flowers are watered. Blaze Whoooo-hoo!!! AJ We did it! We watered all the flowers! Blaze Hang on, AJ, we're goin' down! They go down. Blaze and AJ Whoo-hoo!/Yeah-heh-heh! Whoo-hoo! Blaze returns to normal. Lucy Oh-ho, boy! I've never seen anyone water flowers like that before! You two have definitely earned this! She throws a coin to them and Blaze catches it in his bag. Blaze All right! Our first coin! AJ Just two more, and we'll have enough to get our very own super-size prize! Blaze Thanks, Lucy! (leaves) Lucy Good luck, fellas! Somewhere else, Pickle is at a restaurant holding a tray with plates of spaghetti and meatballs! Pickle 86 the lasagna, Gene! I've got the two top coming through! Crusher comes by. Crusher Pickle. what are you doing? Pickle Oh-ho! Hey, Crusher! I got a job as a waiter in a restaurant and boy, are we busy. Hey, wanna help us bring people their food? Crusher Nah, I don't feel like working. Pickle Yeah, being a waiter is a lotta work. I mean, to lift this tray of spaghetti, you have to be really strong. Crusher Strong? Ha! I'm plenty strong. Here, gimmie that tray. (takes it) Pickle Wow! You are strong! I bet you're so strong, you can also take this salad! (gives it to him) Crusher Yup! Pickle And these tacos! (adds it to the stack) Crusher Uh-huh! Pickle And this grilled cheese! (adds that) Crusher Okay...! Pickle And all these hamburgers! (adds them) Crusher Um, that's probably enough! (tries to balance the stack) Phew. Pickle Oops! Can't forget dessert! (adds some cake) Crusher (screams) The food spills all over him. Crusher Order up? Elsewhere, Blaze comes down a street when his control panel beeps. AJ Hey, we're getting a call. He answers; a dentist named Brodie appears on the control panel. Brodie Blaze! AJ! AJ It's our friend, Brodie the dentist. Dentists are special doctors that keep teeth clean and healthy. Brodie I've got the perfect job for you two. I need you to brush the teeth of some very special patients of mine. My pet fish! AJ Brush fish teeth? Sure, sounds like fun! We're on the job! Blaze Look! Those must be the fish! They are in the water near the pier; they suddenly swim underwater. AJ Uh-oh, the fish are swimming away! They drive onto the dock and AJ gets off. Blaze Lugnuts! How are we gonna brush their teeth now? AJ I know! Let's invent a machine that can help us! We'll use... mechanical engineering! Blaze Yeah! Let's design a machine with a waterproof hull so we can go underwater, and a propellor to make it move really fast, and an electric toothbrush that can reach out and brush the fish's teeth. Like before, each part appears above him as he mentions it. Blaze Yeah-heh! We used mechanical engineering to make a Monster Machine toothbrush sub! Blaze transforms and jumps into the water. AJ All right! (boards Blaze) Let's go brush some teeth! Blaze swims underwater. Blaze Whoooo-hoo! AJ Go, Blaze! Blaze Hmm...now, where did those silly fish go? Giggling is heard. AJ Sounds like one's hiding over there. Blaze (to the viewer:) Help us look for 'em. Shows a row of seaweed. Blaze Where do you see a fish? The yellow fish occurs behind the seaweed; viewer responds. Blaze Right there, hiding in the seaweed! Yeah! He swims up to the fish. Blaze Okay, fishy. Ready to brush those teeth? Yellow fish Uh-huh! He brushes the fish's teeth with the toothbrush. Blaze There, all done. Yellow fish Yay-hey-hey! More giggling. AJ Listen, sounds like there's another fish hiding over there. Shows a coral reef. Blaze Let's look. Where do you see the fish? The pink fish hides behind a rock; viewer responds. Blaze There, behind that rock! Blaze swims up to it. AJ All right, little fish. Let's see those teeth. Pink fish Cheese! The fish's teeth are brushed. Blaze Now your teeth are shiny and clean! Pink fish Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha! AJ Good work, Blaze! Just one more fish to go! More giggling. Blaze And it sounds like he's over this way. Shows another reef. Blaze Where do you see the fish? The blue fish is above the rock archway next to an anemone; viewer responds. Blaze Up there, yeah! He swims up to it. Blaze Okay, little fish. Say "Ahh." Blue fish Ahh... The fish's teeth are brushed. Blaze There, all finished. The rest of the fish gather round. AJ Now come on, little fishies. Let's show Dentist Brodie your nice, clean teeth. Blaze swims back up the dock where Brodie is waiting, and returns to normal as the fish join. Blaze Whoo-hoo-hoo! Brodie They're back! Fish Cheeeeeeese! Brodie Wow, look at all those clean teeth. You fish have all earned...stickers. (gives each fish a sticker; to Blaze) And for being such good dentists, you guys have earned...this. She tosses a coin into Blaze's bag. Blaze Another coin! AJ All right! Now we've got two coins! (to the viewer:) Remember, a super-size prize costs three coins, so we only need one more. On the control panel, the super-size prize machine appears; it is nearly out of prizes. Blaze And it looks like we'd better hurry - there are just a few prizes left! AJ, gimmie some speed! Brodie Good luck, Blaze and AJ! (leaves) Fish Bye-bye! Brodie And don't forget to floss! (laughs) Blaze and AJ go on; STEM song starts. Pickle So then I says, "Looks like we're gonna need a bigger dump truck!" Pickle and trucks (laugh) Orange truck Nice one, Pickle! Pickle and trucks (laugh) Crusher comes by. Crusher Pickle? What are you doing now? Pickle Oh, hi, Crusher! Isn't it great? I got a job as a construction worker! Ooh, ooh! You wanna help? We could use someone to jackhammer this street! Crusher Nah, I don't feel like it. Pickle Oh, sure, I understand. I mean, you've gotta be really tough to handle a jackhammer. Crusher Hey, who said I'm not tough enough to handle a jackhammer? (takes one) I can totally handle a -- It activates and he ends up going out of control until he stops before a mud puddle. Crusher Phew. It switches on again and he splashes into the mud. Crusher Jackhammer... Elsewhere, Robbie the pizza delivery truck, is making a delivery at building 8. Robbie (rings the doorbell) Pizza delivery! The door opens, and Gus sticks his head out. Gus Ho-ho, sweet! Joe, pizza's here! Joe Oh-ho, sweet! (takes it) Gus Here you go! Thanks! (hands Robbie a coin) Blaze's horn sounds; he comes right up the block. Robbie (giggles) Blaze! AJ! Over here! They stop; AJ gets off. Blaze Hey, Robbie. What's goin' on? Robbie I got the perfect job for you guys, hehheh... delivering pizzas! AJ Delivering pizzas? Blaze Yeah! We could do that! Robbie Great! All you gotta do is deliver three pizzas. You got it? Blaze You can count on us, Robbie. Robbie All right, then. I'll see you soon! (leaves) Blaze Come on, AJ! Let's go deliver some pizzas! AJ Whoa! Hang on, Blaze. We can't deliver pizzas yet, because we don't have any pizzas. Blaze Hmm... that's true. Well, then, let's use mechanical engineering and invent a machine to help us! We can build a machine with a sauce squirter that shoots out tomato sauce, and a cheese grater that sprinkles the pizzas with cheese, and then a big oven to cook the pizzas while we drive. Just as before, each part appears around him as he names them. Blaze Check it out! We used mechanical engineering to make a Monster Machine pizza mobile! Blaze transforms; AJ gets on. AJ All right! Let's go make some pizza! Blaze takes off and starts making a pizza; they pass a chicken who smells its sweet smell and begins chasing after them. AJ Uh-oh, Blaze! Look! The chicken is right behind. AJ That chicken is following us! I think she wants to eat our pizza! Blaze Then we'd better hurry and deliver 'em before she catches up! AJ (to the viewer:) First, we need to deliver a pizza to building number 7. Blaze Help us look for building 7. Zoom through the streets; close-up of a sign with the number 4. Blaze Is that the number 7? Viewer responds "No." Blaze No, that's a 4. Zoom through until a sign with the number 7 appears. Blaze Is that 7? Viewer responds "Yes." Blaze Yes! The door opens, and a pink truck comes out as Blaze reaches her. Pink truck Cool! Pizza's here! Blaze Here you go! (hands her the pizza) Pink truck Mmm! Thanks, Blaze dude! Blaze You're welcome! He takes off and makes another pizza. AJ All right! Just two more pizzas to deliver! Clucking is heard. Blaze And we'd better do it fast 'cause look who's catching up! It's the pizza chicken hot on their tail. Blaze The pizza chicken! AJ Quick! This next pizza goes to building number 3. Zoom to a sign with the number 3. Blaze Is that the number 3? Viewer responds "Yes." Blaze Yes! The door opens, and a purple truck comes out as Blaze arrives. Purple truck Oh boy! Pizza's here! Blaze Enjoy! (gives one to him) Purple truck Thanks a lot! Blaze leaves and makes another pizza. AJ Come on, Blaze! We gotta make one more pizza! Clucking is heard; the pizza chicken comes rocketing from behind. Blaze And we'd better do it quick - that chicken is right behind us! AJ We've got to deliver our last pizza to...building number 11! Zoom to a sign with the number 8. Blaze Is that number 11? Viewer responds "No." Blaze No. Zoom to a sign with the number 15. Blaze Is that number 11? Again, viewer responds "No." Blaze Nope. Zoom to a sign with the number 11. Blaze Is that number 11? Viewer responds "Yes." Blaze Yes! He stops; the building is a chicken coop. Blaze Wait a sec. Building 11 is... a chicken coop?! The pizza chicken stops before them. Blaze Oh-ho! Chicken, this is where you live! AJ That's why you were chasing us. This pizza is for you! Blaze Well, here you go, chicken. He gives the chicken the last pizza; she eats it. Blaze and AJ (laugh) Blaze returns to normal just before Robbie returns. Robbie Congratulations, Blaze and AJ! A job well done! He tosses a coin into Blaze's bag. AJ All right! We got another coin! Blaze (to the viewer:) To get a super-size prize, we need three coins. Now do we have enough? Viewer responds "Yes." Blaze Yes! We have exactly three! AJ Uh-oh! Look! The super-size prize machine is on the control panel; only one capsule is left. AJ There's only one super-size prize left in the machine! Blaze Gaskets! If we want that last prize, we'd better get there fast! AJ Time for Blazing Speed! The boosters pop out of Blaze's back. Blaze To give me Blazing Speed, say "Leeeet's Blaze!" Blaze and AJ Leeeeeeet's Blaaaaaze!!!! Blaze takes off. Robbie Go, Blaze! Blaze zooms down the street back to the carnival; he honks as he makes his entrance. Blaze WHOOOOO-HOO! He makes it to the machine. Barker Whoa-ho-ho! Blaze We're back! AJ And we've got three coins for the super-size prize machine! Barker Well, then, this last prize is all yours. Blaze puts his coins into the machine and turns the handle; the last capsule comes out. AJ Yeah-heh! Blaze (to the viewer:) You ready to see what our super-size prize is? Viewer gives an excited remark, like "Yeah." Blaze Okay! Heeeere goes! The capsule opens; a single marshmallow comes out. AJ Whoa, look! It's a marshmallow! It floats to the center of the fair and grows in size. AJ And it keeps getting bigger, and bigger, and bigger! Blaze I don't believe it! It's a super-size marshmallow! All the trucks gather round. Truck Look at the size of that marshmallow! Blaze Come on, friends! It's marshmallow time! Trucks (cheering) Joe and Gus are eating it. Joe Oh-ho, man! It's fun and delicious! Blaze jumps up the inflatable slide. Blaze Whoo-hoo! He lands on the marshmallow and starts bouncing on it. Blaze and AJ Whoa whoa!/Yeah-heh-heh! Hee-hee-hee-hee!/Whoo-hoo! Two more trucks join them. Trucks (various whooping and cheering) AJ Yeah-heh! Blaze Whoa-ho! They are joined by a myriad of trucks. Blaze, AJ and trucks (various cheering) Elsewhere, Pickle is now on a stage playing a guitar as trucks watch. Pickle (singing:) Pickles in the rai-ain! Pickles in my brai-ain! Pickles in the bathtub goin' down the drai-ai-ai-ain! He finishes his song and the crowd cheers; Crusher joins. Crusher Pickle? Pickle Oh, hey, Crusher! Check out what I'm doing now! I'm...A MUSICIAN! He strums onetime; more cheering. Pickle Ooh, ooh! you wanna make music with me? We could have our own band! Crusher Meh, that sounds like too much work. Pickle Yeah, I understand. I mean, to be a musician, you have to have a lotta talent. Crusher Hey, hold on! I've got talent! (takes the guitar) Here, watch this! (sings:) Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na, Crusher today! Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na, a-Crusher tomorrow! Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na, Crusher 'til the end of ti-i-i-i - He ends up hopping off the stage and crashes into some trash cans; Pickle joins, guitar in hand. Pickle (sings:) OH, YEAAAH!
