Blaze is helping Crusher with jobs so he can earn money, just like in The Super-Size Prize, where Blaze and AJ went to do jobs to earn money to get something from the Super-Size Prize Machine.
Crusher is getting a skateboard for his Grammy, which resembles when Stripes wished for a skateboard in Race to the Golden Gift.
This is the seventh time a character other than Blaze reads the title card, this time, it was Crusher.
This is actually the very first time Crusher reads the title card and surprisingly also the very first time he even interacts with the viewer, and he also joins in the STEM song.
But speaking of the viewer interaction, this very rarely happened one time for a small short brief moment in Rocket Ski Rescue, as he said, "You know? I'm starting to think these rocket skis were a bad idea!".
This is the fifth time Blaze goes to space. He previously went to space in Mission to Mars.
There is a song related to pizza in this episode based on the topic, Sequence. Blaze also delivered pizza in The Supersize Prize and when he and Crusher participated in the Great Pizza Race itself in The Great Pizza Race.

Crusher says that he hasn't done a job before, even though he has done cooking as a job in Meatball Mayhem and Sneezing Cold.
It is possible that this could take place before those episode.
When Crusher says "It's the perfect present for a Grammy who loves doing jumps, and flips, and going fast," the captions list "flips" as "slips".
For the final job Blaze and Crusher do, they have to destroy falling asteroids. That isn't actually a job in real-life.
It's odd how most of the guests are not close family members instead are random trucks.
