Gabby, Starla, Darington and Zeg don't appear in this episode.
Going by production order, this is the twentieth episode of the second season.
Blaze and Stripes’ attempts to stop the elephant’s foot from stomping were:
A branch (failed)
A log with holes (failed)
A log without holes (succeeded)
Crusher, along with Pickle use Blazing Speed for the first time.
This is the second episode to have a STEM concept with the focus of going in a circle following rotational speed in Axle City Grand Prix.
Similar to Runaway Rocket, Blaze encounters a sleeping animal and tries not to wake it up, only for Crusher and Pickle to come by, which wakes that said animal and causes trouble.
This is one of the few episodes where Crusher doesn't do anything to beat Blaze or cheat.
When Blaze and Stripes land in the leaves, Blaze briefly has leafy crazy hair similar to Blaze of Glory.
This is the third time Crusher's subplot intersects with the main story since Cattle Drive and Five Alarm Blaze, though this is the first time they end up with Blaze when doing so.
The scene with the stomping elephant's foot is one of the rare occurrences of a near-death experience.
Pickle’s "Doo-bee-doo la-la-la-la" will be heard again in Light Riders.
The wishes Blaze’s friends thought of were:
The world’s biggest trophy (Crusher)
Pickles (Pickle)
An ice cream sundae (Stripes)
Fireworks (AJ)
This is Stripes' last appearance in Season 2.
Running Gags[]
Blaze and Stripes encountering a trap.
Crusher attempting to cross the giant loop-de-loop but messing up.
Allusions[]
Goofs[]
Since Crusher and Pickle were halfway through the loop-de-loop when reaching the upside down part, they should land at least between both tracks instead of the same spot.
When Blaze and Stripes talk together about what Stripes should wish for before reaching the crocodile cave, the edges of Blaze’s scleras are blacked out. They return to normal when he and Stripes are running away from the crocodiles when spotted.
In the STEM song, when Blaze and AJ say “The force will be less,” the captions say “The force will be bad.”
When everyone uses Blazing Speed to escape the sleeping snake, Blaze’s flames don’t glow at all.
When Stripes says, "After a while, crocodiles!" the captions say Blaze said it.
