Trivia[]

  • This is the third 1-hour special since Blaze of Glory and Race to the Top of the World.
    • This is also the first 1-hour special for several things:
      • The first to be in the new animation style.
      • The first where a main character is absent. In this case it's Gabby.
      • The first to involve Crusher joining Blaze for the whole adventure.
      • The first where Crusher never summons any contraptions.
      • The first where Watts appears.
      • The first, and only, to have a different theme song.
  • This is the only episode in the show's history to feature a specialized intro despite not being part of a mini-series.
    • However, just like the Special Missions miniseries back in Season 7, it's possible that this special may also introduce a new miniseries later in the series history.
  • Blaze and AJ get trapped in a bubble, which also happened to certain characters in Blaze of Glory, Toucan Do It!, Raceday Rescue, Babysitting Heroes, The Puppy Chase and Super Wheels vs. The Bubblemaker.
  • This is another episode to have Blaze using Blazing Speed at the beginning of the episode. The last time this occurred was in the episode AJ to the Rescue.
  • Blaze and Crusher turning into glow in the dark racers could be reminiscent of the Race Car Adventures mini-series, and/or the episode Light Riders.
  • This is another video game themed episode, similar to Video Game Heroes and Arcade Adventure.
    • This episode could probably the threquel of both of the episodes; however, the Video Game Heroes song does not play.
  • Crusher and Blaze being stuck in a video game is a reference to the dragon stuck in Video Game Heroes.
  • The is the second episode to have a long title, with the first being The Treasure of the Broken Key: A Musical Adventure.
  • This is the last episode where Jakari Fraser voices AJ, as Ayden Elijah joins the cast for the next episode, replacing Fraser.

  • Watts appears without her driver, Gabby, and she's able to drive, despite not having Gabby in her driving seat, similar to what she and Blaze did in Raceday Rescue.
  • Pickle pressing buttons on the video game machine is similar to what happened in The Great Animal Crown and Deep Sea Grand Prix, when Pickle started to press random buttons, hoping it would make their Submarine go faster, but it resulted in random things falling on Crusher.

  • Crusher using sticky tape.
  • Pickle "saving" Crusher by pressing buttons, but causes him to have unusual accessories.

  • Blaze and Crusher are going into a video game and had to play their way to get out is similar to what happened in Scooby-Doo and the Cyber-Chase, Dora the Explorer from "Save the Puppies", Team Umizoomi from "Let's Play Math Dragons", Zathura: A Space Adventure, Jumanji, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and Jumanji: The Next Level when Scooby-Doo and the gang, Dora and Boots, Milli, Geo, Bot, Danny, Walter, Alan, Sarah, Peter, Judy, Alex, Spencer, Martha, Bethany, Fridge, Eddie, Milo all did the same thing.
  • Crusher has sticky tape like in Dora the Explorer from "Sticky Tape" and "Rescue Rescue Rescue" when Dora and Boots used the sticky tape to fix Benny the Bull’s hot air balloon.
