In production order, this is the sixteenth episode of the seventh season.
Some scenes from this episode were seen in a YouTube video on the series' own channel.
This episode marks the fourth episode of Nickelodeon's "fast-ernoons", which premieres a brand new Blaze & the Monster Machines episode every day at 12:00 PM.
The Lunchbox Bandit takes Crusher's role as the antagonist.
Force was taught again after The Driving Force and Big Rig Blaze; however, a Wild West remix of Force was used instead of the original version.
Blaze's rear tires have a spur. He also has a more cowboy like outfit in this episode.
This is one of the several episodes where Starla spends the entire episode with Blaze.
This episode is similar to the Team Umizoomi episode, 'Stolen Lunches'.
At the Wild West Picnic, when Pickle takes out a hot-dog with pickles as its sausage, you can see Crusher's face is nauseous.
The Lunchbox Bandit stole lunchboxes because he didn’t have one like in The Pillow Pirate when the Pillow Pirate himself stole pillows because he didn’t have a pillow either until he got one at the end.
The Lunchbox Bandit had a reason why he stole lunchboxes, which is he doesn’t have one. So this is another reason why bad guys did bad things like in Light Riders when the Light Thief stole lights all over Axel City because she was scared of the dark, Blaze and the Magic Genie when a Fox stole Genie’s blue wishing jewel because she thought it was a blueberry, a dragon from Knighty Knights, who stole the energy machine because he was also running out of energy, and The Treat Thief when the Treat Thief herself stole candy and sweets because she was hungry.
The scene where Pickle plays Wild West music for Crusher almost became a running gag, but this subplot only occurred once.
Running Gags[]
Whenever the Lunchbox Bandit says, "What could go wrong?", before driving across the bumpy rocks, broken bridge, and marble path, that causes the lunchboxes to fly off.
Allusions[]
The blue cowboy truck from The Mechanic Team! reappeared in this episode and it also revealed his name is Quick Silver.
The scene where Blaze and Starla are pulling the lunchbox from the Lunchbox Bandit alludes to the scene in The Driving Force where Blaze is pulling Starla’s piston from Crusher.
Goofs[]
When the lunchboxes are floating down the river, the lunchboxes in Blaze’s trunk disappear. However they reappear in the next scene.
